When we were in HK all the girls/ladies/women were wearing boots. All kinds of boots, formal, casual, fringed, cowboy, uggs - all types. It eventually got to me and i HAD to buy a pair of boots. I was soooo obsessed, i was checking out every girl - to see what kind of style they had on, which styles i liked, disliked and eventually what would work for me.
After all the style sussing, i had to find the boots that would look hot on me
and fall within budget. We went high end (aud $500 or so) to low end (aud $25-50) and i finally found these on sale. They were from "The Walker Shop" Grand Century Plaza, a shopping mall right next door to our hotel (how convenient!!). They were on special too! buy 1 get 1 free! The sound of a
sweet sweet bargain to me. Sold! The store had lots of amazing boot styles which appealed to me but only a few styles which still had my size. [ i have big feet for an asian]. And that is why i ended up with the same style in 2 different colours. Honestly i am not complaining because these boots are gonna super sweet in winter and i can't wait to wear them to school. [low heel = comfort!]
my brown/gold boots
black / silver boots, both came to aud $200 :o)
The next item was completely impulsive, we were in Macau wandering around the fancy shopping malls when we came across a HUGE Marc Jacobs boutique. Went inside, saw the 40% off sale signs and decided it was worth a good look. Hubby saw this handbag on display and instantly fell in love with the colour and leather [and so did i!] had a quick look at the price, got our caculators out and figured it was a bargain. Darling hubby bought the bag for me as a gift and i walked out of the store like the cat that got the cream. :oD.
i love love love the colour and the smooshy soft leather, the detailing and all the hardware.
Sooo soooo cute, the only down fall is the bag is quite heavy so you have to be careful not to over stuff.
The next item is another impulsive purchase from ebay :oD.
I bought this in November for a fraction of the original price ...hehehe... i have always wanted a Mabillon back pack, but they have been discontinued and hard to find in the colours i want.
I really wanted the backpack in lilac or yellow[discontinued colours], but i will just have to settle with black. I really love using a backpack again, because it leaves my hands free, but this backpack is on the small side but it still fits all the basic essentials.
When we were in HK we went to the biggest LV store i've ever been. It was 4 stories high and had the most amazing collection of bags, shoes, scarves, luggage, jewellery, watches, clothes...just everything!!! The next most amazing thing about the store was how CRAZY BUSY it was ... the LV boutique on the first floor was FULL, like literally jammed packed, sardine style full - full of mainland chinese people that is. The crazy part is LV monogram bags were selling like peanuts, people were buying 2,3,4,5 -10 items and walking out the store with their arms full. It was fully bonkers, you had to wait in line to look at an item, you had to wait in line to pay for an item. The stuff wasn't even on sale. Anyways i did enjoy going to that store because i got to see many many bags and collections that aren't available in Perth - and i got to see the new vernis collection and colours. And that was when i fell in love with the bag below. i have been lusting after the sunset boulevard for a while now, but i could never pick out a colour before. The grey is sooo me and will be a classic for a long time ... this clutch is coming with me to Sydney for my cousin's wedding. loves it! :oD
