holiday reading & viewing

just some things i have watched and read over the holidays... finally got to watch this, its really scary but i really think a lot of it is true. how can you deny that a world population of 6.5 billion people will not have an impact on our environment or a drain on world resources? need to start being carbon neutral.

wanna find out how much carbon dioxide emissions you make a year? go to ...
http://www.carbonneutral.com.au/
you can also donate money to this charity to offset the carbon emissions you make... something i have to seriously think about this year..
my emissions were 18 tonnes, or plant about 88 trees or pay then $300 bucks to do it for me...
guess which one im doing? :o)

and ... just a little light reading over the holidays!
Marley & me is an excellent book for any dog lovers, i have read both the kids version ( miss J can read that in one sitting) and the adults version ( miss J can finish that in less then 1 day) .
Its an awesome book, and very popular over here.

Victoria Beckham - the extra half an inch - meh .. its just a book about Beck and her insights into fashion, i though there would awesome pics of designer goodies that she own in there but nah! nadda.... just looked at all the piccies... its all quite meh...

protecting your assets- its another one of those robert kiyosaki books but not written by him - one of his associates.. i unfortunately dont have any bright ideas that need to be protected.. this one is going back to the library today....

war & peace - whoa momma! this is one big ass book. i am right in the middle of it (or shall i say somewhere in the first 100 pages) - its set in russia, 1800's, amongst the rich and society people. its well written and some of it is quite interesting (like the ladies gossiping about each other & scheming their way into money ) but when it gets to the war parts -- YAWN! definitely helps with the insomnia problem.

anyways thats enough from me... next post.. is about the after Christmass sales... and the bargains that had to go home with ME :o)

Haha you flatter me Miss K! As for me, I read another of Tolstoy's classics, Anna Karenina. Trust me I did not read that in one day, plus it was so boring. I don't understand why people insist that just because a book is a classic that it must be good!

Love Miss J
