Tired

Im tired, exhausted and shattered :( it really is HARD WORK ... and i feel so little and pathetic ... Sigh... Where do we go for refunds?

motherhood

about two and half weeks ago i gave birth to my first child
it was the most amazing thing to see and touch and hold my daughter for the first time
i cant believe she was growing in my tummy for 40 weeks [and 3 days]
i dont think she looks much like me - but i dont care

even though she is so young, she has sooo much personality
she doesnt like being 'dirty' and demands her nappy [wet or poopy] be changed immediately
if her nappy leaks - she will scream and tell you so
if she vomits and drools all over her top - she wants to be changed straight away

she has good days - where she is so placid and easy going and eats and sleeps the day away, sometimes staying awake for a while to play with mum and dad - giving us lots of cheeky smiles and funny faces

then she has horrible cranky days - where she is not a happy chappy and cries and cries and cries
demanding to be held all the time and cuddled and carried
frustating her daddy

but oh... its just the beginning of a long and bumpy journey with lots of love, warmth and happiness
