it actually went quite well.
all that hard work and preparation paid off.
its such a relief... i can relax a lot more now and focus on other things..
but i am really REALLY really tired now...
i'e got a splitting headache and my head's spinning...

this tuesday i have a 3 hour professional development presentation and workshop to organise for 50 fellow staff members.
it is DRIVING ME NUTS!!!!
yes, i can organise it and do it all by myself... its just soooo fucking stressful.
i cant bitch about it too much here... afraid of retribution and retaliation from the MRS BOSS at school.
but i will tell everyone and anyone who will listen to me complain about it in person

my chanel
this is the latest addition to my bag collection.
this is the bag i have saved up for (then blew all my savings on other crap because i did not have access to a chanel store), lusted after, and routinely scoured the auctions of ebay from australia to singapore to america.
and now i finally have it, my holy grail.
this should stop me from buying any more bags for a very long time.
because this bag has made me VERY BROKE for a very very very long time.
oh wells..
here are all the glorious & pretty details about the bag
its a large chanel flap from the autumn winter range 07/08 season.
its grey in vintage distressed lambskin leather (thus the creasing in the leather as seen in the photos) and very very soft.
it is rather big and heavy, especially when you put your wallet, phone and other crap inside.
but im not complaining too much. i got what i wanted and that should be enough to shut me up period.

im bored
so i have a tummy bug and i am in no condition to go out... i am bored stupid... im hot and sticky and i have nothing to do apart from watching a lot of pirated movies and dvds.
so here i am blogging away... i tend to blog when i'm bored ... sort of a verbal diarrheoa

Just watched: The Shinjuku Incident with Jackie Chan. Had no idea what the movie was about but definitly pleasantly surprised. Movie had a decent story line and there was english subtitles (YAY!) just not happy with the malaysian censorship - aya! so strict!
listening to : Lady Gaga, find her songs very addicitve :o), and put me in the right mood to do some work. i love her, she's so fabulously trashtastic!!

the holiday from hell
this little holiday get away was something me and mr s had planned for a while.
you know, just a little el cheapo get away holiday in your typical favourite cheap tourist destinations.
we picked KL/malaysia because we used air asia and everything basically starts and stops there.
fine, we can see the sights, eat cheap food and catch up with long lost friends.
then the plan was to go to bangkok, only because i have never been there before and its a great city for shopping, eating and seeing something completely new. soooo the plan was 2 days and 2 nights there, BUT it never happened!!!! why? because the stupid thais (red faction) decided to protest and cause general havoc in the streets. Fucking great, we lost money on 2 legs of the trip now (the ticket to bangkok and then the ticket to stupid phuket). We nearly lost money on the hotel but they gave us credit back for that (thank god!).
so it seemed our holiday was going down the shits.... now the next part .... so bangkok was cancelled... should we continue to phuket? or change our plans completely? we decided to stay on the safer side of things... and guess where we ended up? heheheh.... jakarta.
only because lots of family and friends insisted it was the safer thing to do. " you might be able to get into phuket but what happens if they protest in the airport and you cant get out of thailand, then you're in trouble". so yep, now we're in jakarta.
again we booked our air asia tickets to jakarta - fine no probs, until we arrived in jakarta.
it all started in the lcct terminal in KL, they delayed 1 flight to join with ours (to save money of course) then there was another delay - what with all the baggage that had to be changed around.
so when we got to jakarta, it turns out 1/2 of the luggage of the passengers on board went on the wrong flight. GREAT- FUCKING GREAT.
guess who's luggage was on the wrong flight? ours of course, where else could it be.
but the friendly air asia workers of the indo airport said "dont worry" we will take care of it.
your luggage is coming in on the next flight from KL, it will be here in 1hr, of course it is... YEH RIGHT!!! 1 hr turns into 2 hrs, turns into 3 hrs.... just as a bunch of us get really mad and shitty (because its about 11pm at night now) he offers us all a free meal courtesy of air asia upstairs in a local cafe. fine. it placates us for a while, but when the clock turns to 2 am, all of us get really mad and want the lies to stop. SIGH....sigh sigh... maybe that was a sign for us to go to phuket i tell mr s, maybe so he said, but what to do? we are here now and enjoy it as it is. so we finally get home at 3am with all of our correct luggage... breathe a sigh of relief and thankful we dont really have anything valuable in there.
now we come to the end of the holiday and the plan was to catch another air asia plane at the ungodly hour of 6:30 am from jakarta to KL. we were ok with that until i got the tummy bugs the night before i was to take off. so there i was spending quality time with either my face or my bum in the toilet bowl getting very deep and personal. i really dont think i will catch that 6.30am flight especially when i have to wake up at 4am to catch that stupid plane. so there goes another bunch of money.
so whats the plan now? FUCK air asia, we're going home with jet star... and yes we did spend another bunch of money catching a totally different set of flights.
all in all ... a pretty shitty holiday, im too traumatised now to plan anymore holidays... i just want to go home.
now lets see the total number of flights paid for and missed due to unforeseen circumstances :
PER-KL= yes
KL-BGK=no
BGK-PHKT=no
PHKT-KL=no
KL-PER=no
KL-JKT=yes (with misplaced luggage)
JKT-KL= no (tummy issues)
JKT-PER = yes (on jet star this time)
sooo this is a round up of the holiday from hell.. i just hope everything goes according to plan now. im sick of travelling and i want to go home. but i am not looking forward to the amount of work i have to do before school starts. SIGH....
